Partnerships and collaborations are critical to make Allegheny County a better place for children to grow, thrive, and succeed. Allies for Children works with policymakers, organizations, and other stakeholders at the state and local level including the Department of Children’s Initiatives, Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children, Trying Together, A+ Schools, the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania, the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, Carnegie Mellon University, Rankin Christian Center, Project Destiny, and 1Hood Media.
Allies for Children is a partner of several non-partisan statewide campaigns. Thriving PA seeks to improve the quality of and increase equitable access to a coordinated system of health supports. An initiative of Early Learning PA, Childhood Begins at Home helps policymakers and the public understand the value of evidence-based home visiting and support public investments in the programs.
