Jul 23 Final Medicaid Toolkit Released

Have you heard about the upcoming changes to Medicaid? Do you want to learn more about them so you can support your community?

Allies for Children recently released our Medicaid Toolkit to help. This Toolkit contains an overview of Medicaid, as well as sections that have a “deeper dive” into specific policy areas, such as school-based Medicaid, and impacts of HR 1 – a law passed in 2025 with specific Medicaid provisions that will impact the healthcare system over the next several years.

The information in the Toolkit is meant for anyone wanting to understand Medicaid better, but especially the workforce that serves Medicaid participants and other stakeholders interested in advocating and educating others about Medicaid for children and families.

Please look out for additional resources to share with families and ways to engage in advocacy moving forward.
